To truly know God we must long for Him without any other motive than reaching God Himself.

Graduation happened and I couldn’t stop smiling until I laid my head on the pillow. What a great day!

Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die

Album: Rise Or Die Trying[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]This one’s for Aaron!
(Source: if-youre-abird-im-abird)
I am happy. This is a good time in my life.
There’s a sink hole in my front yard, which will soon become a trench following the sewer line up to my home.
My son’s car was totaled by a drunk driver in front of our home.
The brakes on my vehicle begin to smoke if I drive any farther than 7 miles out of town.
We live each month down to the penny and sometimes we are short quite a few.
I literally hold down 4 jobs to help towards adding pennies to our month and towards eliminating our debt.
My 18 year old son has become a man and will be moving from our home to college this August.
Please don’t bring up the subject of water in, around or near our home, because water is our nemesis!
:D
This is actually an amazingly wonderful time in my life!
We haven’t lost any children, yet, down the sink hole!
Thank You God Aaron’s car stopped the possible tragedy of an innocent being severely injured or losing their life.
My vehicle is paid for and it still gets me there and back home.
God provides all my family’s needs: we still have this home to live in and food to eat, and thank goodness we don’t have to walk around naked!!! (that would be awkward & embarrassing :D )
I am physically able to make other people’s work environments shiny and fresh when I clean their buildings, and maybe I get a bit of exercise too.
I get to work with some amazing teenagers and children, fully accessing the silly, spontaneous side of who I am!!!
Then the orderly, detail side of who I am, is stimulated while working in an office with people I am blessed to call family.
My children have become people who know who they are, like who they are and express themselves without fear of what peers will think of them. They are funny, kind, loving and loyal.
My man is my best friend and loyal love. That is simply enough for me in these past 25 years.
I still love the sound of the rain! It reminds me of how God washes me clean. The rains keeps a fallin’ and He is always with me.
My life is at peace.
I am happy.

Psalm 84:1-2
How lovely is your dwelling place,
Lord Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.
